Discussion on aquifer thermal energy storage technology

Compares and analyses the aquifer thermal energy storage technology and the groundwater source heat pump technology. The aquifer thermal energy storage technology not only solves the difficulty of groundwater recharge in the groundwater source heat pump technology, but also has significant energy saving effects. The study shows that as long as the proper well formation technology is adopted, under the condition of full recharge of groundwater in the same aquifer, the fully-sealed groundwater energy system has little impact on the geological environment and the risk is controllable.
